Inspired by the majestic presence of nature’s gentle giants and the sacred geometry of the mandala, this piece serves as a symbol of protection, wisdom, and quiet strength.

Mandalas are universal maps of peace and focus, but when woven with the fierce, lynx-like features of the Maine Coon, the form transforms into a “Studio Guardian.” It is a tribute to the sensitive, intuitive animals that share our spaces, ground our spirits, and keep watch over our hearts.

True to the Stone-Couture™ philosophy, this artwork is a study of contrast—merging the ethereal lightness of design with the unbreakable presence of stone.

• The Foundation: Meticulously hand-cut, multiple layers of structural poster board are stacked utilizing a specialized 3D-lamination process. This creates a dense, architectural depth where lines cascade outward like geometric ripples.

• The Texture: The piece is reinforced and sculpted using industrial tile glue, transforming the fragile paper edges into a continuous, organic terrain. This gives the face and fur the tactile weight and weathered presence of an ancient artifact.

• The Finish: Coated in a deep, dark steel metallic spray paint, the mandala catches the light shifts of your room. It evokes the resilient armor of a mythical protector, shifting from shadow to metallic sheen depending on the angle of the sun.
