LADY IN A TURBAN: The Birth of a New Style
The Painting That Changed Everything.
“Lady in a Turban” holds a special place in my gallery as a true artistic breakthrough. This was the very first time I experimented with combining two opposing worlds: the unpredictable energy of Paint Pouring and the meticulous precision of Dry Brush Oil. ### A Viral Sensation When I first shared this experiment online, I was overwhelmed by the response—receiving over a thousand likes overnight. That moment of connection with my audience confirmed that I had found something truly unique. This piece became the inspiration that fueled my passion for this “Dual-Technique” approach, leading to many of the works you see in my gallery today.
The Technique: Chaos Meets Control
This painting is a study in balance. I wanted to see if I could bring harmony to two very different textures:
-
The Fluid Background: Using a “paintballing” and pouring method, I created a vibrant, abstract background that feels alive with movement and color.
-
The Dry Brush Portrait: In sharp contrast, the portrait of the lady is rendered using a highly controlled dry brush technique. By using almost no oil, I was able to achieve a soft, porcelain-like skin texture and hyper-realistic details in her expression.
-
The Fusion: The result is a piece where the subject seems to emerge gracefully from a whirlwind of abstract energy.
